What is a Class A License?
Class A license that allows you to operate a combination of vehicles including semi-trailers and trailers with two or more axles. Also known as a SEMI.

What do I need to Obtain a Permit?
First you need to pass and obtain a DOT Physical and take a copy to the BMV for their records. Then:

You must pass a General Knowledge test at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV)

You must also pass an Air Brakes test at the BMV

You must finally pass the Combination test at the BMV

And any other endorsements that will accompany your license.

If you cannot obtain a permit before the start of class that is perfectly fine.

What is a Class B?

What makes this a Restricted License?
A typical Class A license is known as a tractor-trailer semi using a fifth-wheel coupling system. This license uses a pintle hook coupling system. (Pintle Hook & Ring) But still allows you to pull a pintle hook trailer that weights more than 10,000 pounds. However, you cannot drive a tractor-trailer combination, you have a restriction on your license. That letter will be an O (The driver cannot operate a class A vehicle with a fifth-wheel connection.)

Hazmat Endorsement
We offer a premier Hazardous Material Endorsement (HME) course specifically designed for CDL holders. Completion of our Hazmat course will allow your State Driver Licensing Agency (SDLA) to permit you to proceed with the Hazmat Endorsement Exam once you are entered into the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Training Provider Registry (TPR).
Applicants MUST also visit the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) website to set up the finger printing and background check.
To enroll, drivers must possess a valid CDL-A that remains valid until after obtaining the Hazmat endorsement. Additionally, current students of USA Logistics Training Solutions LLC need to complete their CDL-A training and graduate with us prior to enrollment.

This course is tailored for individuals wanting to drive a school bus, city bus, charter bus or any passenger carrying motor vehicle.
School Bus Endorsement will obtain a (S) on their Driver License
